Ginny Peter, CPNP-PC

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Ginny graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then attended the University of Missouri St. Louis and completed the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program in 2009.  She is board certified in pediatrics. Ginny began her career at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in 2003. She then began practicing as a PNP at a pediatric practice in 2009.  In 2019, she opened the doors at Heart to Heart Pediatrics in her hometown of Waterloo, IL.

Hobbies & Interests:
“I love spending time with family and friends. We love traveling – anywhere with a beach!”

“I love taking care of children in the town where I am raising my own. Community and family values are what makes working and living here my dream.” 

Jamie Becker, CPNP, PMHS

Pediatric Mental Health Specialist

Jaime Becker obtained her master’s degree from St. Louis University as a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner in 2010 and also holds an additional master’s degree from University of Alabama in health promotion and a national certification as a pediatric mental health specialist. In addition, in May 2021 she will complete a post-masters certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from Maryville University.

Here at Heart to Heart Pediatrics, she provides diagnosis of pediatric mental health concerns and disorders and management, which includes non-medicinal interventions and when indicated, medications. Her focus is on children with anxiety, depression, and ADHD in addition to providing basic coping skills to children struggling with their emotions.

Being a nurse practitioner, wife, and mom to three boys, she understands the daily struggles that parents encounter, as well as the importance of helping a child succeed emotionally, physically, and academically. Off the clock, you’ll find Jaime at a gym or field being her children’s biggest fan or enjoying the outdoors, doing anything from gardening to hiking to fishing and hunting.

Megan, RN

Registered Nurse & Certified Lactation Counselor

Megan has been with Heart to Heart since August 2019.  She graduated from KC in 2004 and from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2007. She started her career as a nurse in the NICU at Cardinal Glennon then transitioned to pediatric primary care.  Megan is married to her husband Chris for 19 years and they have four children; Corrine, Eyan, Kylie and Kynley. They have two dogs, Bo and Duke.

Hobbies & Interests:
“I love spending time with family and friends. Spending quality time with my kids, listening to all of Eyan’s hunting and fishing adventures and watching my girls cheer.”

“I love helping people and taking care of kids everyday.”

Kayla, RMA

Medical Assistant

Kayla has been a MA at Heart to heart since March of 2021 after being a stay at home mom for 10 years. Her husband is Josh and they have been married for 14 years. Together they have 4 children and 1 puppy!

“Kayla and her family love movie nights, family game nights, and going on vacation together.”

Jen

Medical Receptionist

Jen has been with Heart to Heart since December 2020.  She has worked in various customer service positions and medical offices her entire working career. She loves welcoming and assisting Heart to Heart families. Jen has two girls.  Kaylee plays softball and volleyball and Leah enjoys karate and 4-H. They have three dogs, two cats, and three birds.

“I enjoy hiking, camping, floating, biking and pretty much any other outdoor activity!”

Katie Conklin

Katie, CPNP-PC

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Katie grew up in Glen Carbon, IL and obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College in 2013. She worked at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital for almost 5 years on the Infant/Toddler Medical/Surgical unit. During that time she became a Certified Pediatric Nurse. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing, focusing on Pediatric Primary Care, from Maryville University in 2017.

She is board-certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB). Katie has been practicing as a primary care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Illinois since 2019.

Katie still resides in Illinois with her husband Ben and their daughter Bailey. She enjoys hanging out with her family, listening to music, being outside, and swimming in her pool!

Courtney

Courtney, CPNP-PC

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Courtney graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She started her pediatric nursing career at Mercy Hospital- St. Louis. She worked on Mother-Baby, Pediatrics, and in the Pediatric ICU. Courtney then received a doctorate in nursing from the University of Missouri- St. Louis in 2022. She is board certified in Primary Care Pediatrics. She began her PNP career here at Heart to Heart!

Courtney grew up in Glen Carbon, IL. She currently lives in St. Louis with her fiance Kellen, her son Oliver, and her pup Berkley.

She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, exercising, and trying new coffee shops in the St. Louis area!

Megan lives in Glen Carbon with her husband Blake and their two cats. They are expecting their first child in February. In her free time she likes to read and spend time with family and friends.

Registered Nurse

Ashley obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College in 2017 with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She started her career as a nurse on the cardiac/telemetry floor at St. Mary’s hospital then transitioned to pediatric primary care. Ashley and her husband Ryan recently had their first child, Mason. They also have 2 dogs, Schenn and Tig.

“My favorite thing is spending time with my baby boy and watching him grow.  Also I am one of the biggest St. Louis Blues fans you will ever meet!”

I have worked in pediatrics for over 20 years. I have been a medical assistant and receptionist. I am getting married October 2023 to my amazing fiancé, Jason. I have two children; Olivia is a full-time student at SIUE studying Special Education while working at Target and Dallas is a junior in high school, he plays soccer and hockey at BTHS. I also have 4 bonus kids as well: Brooke, Lucas, Ethan and Cameron. Cameron is our baseball player for the Blue Jays. I adore our blended family and we also have our sweet Blue Mural Aussie, Daisy Mae!

“I enjoy walking, all water activities, the Lake of Ozarks and I love being outdoors as much as possible. Also anything that involves being with our blended family!”

Tiffany has been with Heart to Heart since July of 2021. She started out as a receptionist with us and went on to become a Medical Assistant after realizing that is her passion. She has been with her husband Nathan for 12 years and together they share three beautiful children and a puppy!
